F1 on an Ideal Logic is low water pressure. The filling loop fix takes two minutes and costs nothing.
What it actually means
F1 is Ideal's low pressure warning: the sealed system has dropped below the minimum and the boiler will not run until it is topped up.
On the Logic range this is easily the most common code, and most owners fix it themselves.
Try this first, before you spend a penny

Confirm on the gauge
Under 1 bar means F1 is telling the truth. Aim for 1 to 1.5 bar cold.

Use the filling loop
Open the valves slowly to about 1.2 bar, close them firmly, and check the loop is not left dripping.

Reset the boiler
F1 should clear and normal service resume.
When it is a pro job
Repeated drops mean a leak somewhere in the system or a failing internal part like the expansion vessel. That is a job for an engineer with a pressure tester.
